The beginning

Fed up with ennui of life, today we begin chronicling our mid-life woes, our pains at under-achieving in life, our regrets of not having given our best, and small joys that come from watching our 2 cutie pies grow. This blog would broadly be a mish mash of my financial knowledge, my dalliance with technology, some smattering of brief book reviews / summaries and random rants about all else.

Admittedly, one can cherish dreams of being the next Chetan Bhagat, or if not, Ravi Subramaniam. Write ones way to glory and riches. Hopefully become popular enough to influence people and even write columns for newspapers. But these grandiose dreams dont beset us. For us, chronicling is the best way to keep a record, to objectively analyze the day gone by, to be able to share learnings with our audience, and hopefully, grow as people.

Eventually, if even just a few people find our ramblings useful, then this will be worthwhile effort. Hopefully, we will be able to talk about some personal financial ideas, kind of gross mistakes people make. Not just uneducated people, but even the IIT IIM types sometimes take strange decisions which push them towards pecuniary abyss. Then, off late, we have been doing some stock research and will look forward to sharing ideas, and even soliciting comment from others. Finally, though I dont know much about technology, I intend to share a few basic things I know.
